CAMP RULES *

1. A Maximum of 3 Dogs per Camper. This is a time of bonding, learning, and new adventures for you and your dog(s). Spreading yourself too thin will rob you and your dog of the opportunity to really immerse yourselves and get the benefits you deserve. 2. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS: An Early Bird Discount is available for campers who have registered with their nonrefundable deposit of $500, on or before April 30, 2024. Until I receive your $500 deposit, I can not reserve a place at camp for you. • Registrations received after March 15, 2024, do not qualify for Early Bird Discounts. 3. REFERRAL REWARDS: Once you have paid your $500 deposit, each $100 referral reward will be deducted from your remaining balance. To earn a referral reward, the person you refer must be a new camper (can not have already attended Wild Blue Dog Camp). They must list you on their application form and make their camp deposit. 4. Camp balance is due on July 15th, 2024. Referral Rewards can accrue until your final camp balance has been paid. Any referrals after April 30, 2024, will be credited towards the following year’s camp. No cash will be given as a reward. 5. All campers must sign a limited liability agreement and provide proof of RABIES vaccination or titers that we can keep in our records. Copies, photos, and emails are fine. You will also be required to sign photography releases (so we can take pictures of you and your dog). Without these 3 items, I can not admit you to ANY Wild Blue Dogs event. 6. The 4H Campground is a private facility and only Wild Blue Dog Campers, Instructors, Guest Instructors, and Staff will be allowed on site. This includes the 4H beach. No visitors, observers, or spouses. No exceptions. 7. No dogs will be allowed in the Picnic/Patio area while food is being served and eaten/during mealtimes- NO exceptions. 8. You must come to dog camp with a CRATE and/or XPEN. This provides a safe and comfortable place for you and your dog to rest between activities and during mealtime. If you are staying at the hotel you must also bring a sheet or blanket to protect the bed. 9. PRIOR TO MAKING YOUR CAMP RESERVATION if you need to travel to camp via airplane make sure the airline will allow your dog to travel in the passenger compartment with you. Many airlines will not fly live animals due to the dangerous heat in the southwest. 10. If you are staying at the hotel, upon check-in you will need to provide a credit/debit card to the hotel in the event of additional charges or damages. 11. You will be expected to abide within the rules of the 4H facility and the Tahoe Beach Retreat. We are VERY fortunate to have these facilities and failure to respect them will be grounds for dismissal without a refund. This includes excessive barking or howling, reckless behavior, and property damage. You ALWAYS need to be in control of your dog. 12. Aggression of any kind is immediate grounds for dismissal without refund. If your dog is reactive, fear aggressive, territorial, or just doesn’t like other dogs or people, this is not the place for your dog. Take them on a different vacation where they can have more fun. 13. Both the hotel grounds and the 4H facility are on-leash facilities. Our on-leash policy is designed to protect you and your dog. While walking the hotel grounds or the 4H facility your dog will need to be on leash. While your dog is involved in a class, they are allowed to be off-leash, provided you always have control of your dog. 14. Being off-leash is a privilege. Specific areas of the 4H facility are delegated “off-leash” play areas. The Camp Director will evaluate your dog’s recall Failure to comply with the On-Leash policy is grounds for dismissal without refund. 15. You will be expected to clean up ANY mess your dog makes. Period. No excuses. 16. Lake Tahoe has a large and varied wildlife population. Be respectful of our wild neighbors and do not place either the wildlife or your dog at risk. 17. Wild Blue Dog Camp is not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or misadventure occurring to either you or your dog at any location where Wild Blue Dogs is holding either formal or informal events, including casual encounters with friends or independent excursions. 18. Wild Blue Dogs reserves the right to photograph all camp attendees, their dogs, activities at all Wild Blue Dog Camp sites and event locations. Photography will be used solely for the Wild Blue Dogs website, advertising, and social media. You will receive copies of many of the photographs taken and you are welcome to take your own photographs as well, and share them on our social media platforms! #wildbluedogcamp #wildbluedogs. 19. Refunds will not be given except for death or serious illness, or state mandate. No refunds of any kind will be given after April 30, 2024. 20. We make every effort to engage excellent caterers and to provide healthy, satisfying meals with both meat inclusive and vegetarian dishes. We will make every effort to accommodate common food allergies, unfortunately, we can not provide custom meals for each camper.
