I hope everyone is getting excited about Wild Blue Dog Camp! I can’t wait! This is the first of a series of numbered memos that you will receive each week to help get you & your pup ready for camp. These memos should provide all of the information you will need to have a truly amazing week. After each memo has been emailed a copy will be posted on our website in a password protected section under the 2024 Camp menu. The password is PUPPYDOG.

Camp begins on Monday afternoon and is over on Sunday morning. Instructors will begin arriving on Sunday and Monday-whatever fits their schedule.

If you want to come up to Tahoe early or stay a day or two after these are the instructions  for booking those extra days online. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BOOK YOUR CAMP DATES-ONLY THE EXTRA DAYS. I BOOK YOUR STAY FROM September 16-22. 

Guests are now able to make reservations using your unique code. To do this:

1. Go to our website and click on ‘Book Your Stay’ and a second window will open up. https://www.tahoebeachretreat.com/

2. Enter in your check-in and check-out dates

3. Under ‘Promo Code’ type in the group code “WildFall24” and then click Check Availability.

4. A new window will open up with the room options for the check in and check out dates selected. Select ‘Book’ next to the preferred room type and continue with making the reservation by entering in your information.

Check In for camp will begin at 4:00 at the 4H campground on Monday, September 16, 2024. You will be texted the gate code at 4pm at the phone number you put on your application, so please be sure we have a correct cell number for you. You will get a detailed set of instructions in a future memo. This is just to give you a general idea.

Your dogs will have a blast! Be ready for your best vacation ever!

Do you have copies of your rabies certificate or titers certificate?

• You can email a copy of this to Megan@wildbluedogs.org now or send a snapshot via text to Megan @ 714-390-8391. Doing this early gives you one less thing to worry about at the last minute. IF YOU DO NOT SEND THIS IN ADVANCE YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THIS WITH YOU TO CAMP. Please check now so if you can’t find them you will have time to get a new copy from the vet.

• Please send in a photo of you and your dog for the camp directory-please send it to Megan@wildbluedogs.org. We would like a photo of you & your dog but if you are camera shy, at least send one of your dog. This directory is only for campers to get to know each other & their dogs.

• Reminder that if you haven't already paid, your balance is now due.
